Well, happy holidays, everyone. I hope you're enjoying time with friends and family.
And I also think many of you are thinking about 2025 and what that looks like and what you have plans for the future. So here, I'm going to send a question here for one.
Have you ever considered writing a book? So maybe this is a completely new idea for you, or maybe you've been thinking about it for a long time or don't know where to get started.
I will talk about some of the reasons why you might consider it and why now is a good time to get going on your book. So, I'm going to ask another question. What kind of book would you publish? I'm going to put that in the chat, too, so you can put your responses in the chat if you're so inclined.
So what I ask is, there are lots of kinds of books you could write. There are stories like personal stories. You could write fiction, short stories, novels, anything like that.
Many of you are coaches. You teach people things. A book can be a great way to encapsulate what you know and share it with the world. And maybe you have some special insights on how people could be better parents, better whatever, better marketers, better human beings, and how to live a better life.
Chances are you have something in there. As Marie Forleo says, you have that special gift that only you have. And in some ways, it's almost your obligation to share it with the world. So I don't know what it is.
I like story productions. I like family stories, family biography, that kind of thing. Also, we publish a lot of business advice books. I know some of you who may watch this are involved with real estate investing and mortgage note investing. And I know some of you have an awful lot of really good information about how to be successful in that. And it's worthwhile putting it in the book.
One of the things from a business point of view is that a book itself can be a tremendous calling card and a tremendous magnet to your business. It gives you influence and authority.
And nothing says authority better than having a book. And what I'm going to say is it doesn't have to be a difficult process. If you have something you already have been thinking about, it's mostly a matter of organizing it and writing it.
I can help you with that. You may already have a book already written. It's pretty well to the point where you just need some editing, and you need it formatted and uploaded so you can distribute it. And that's what I do a lot. So we help authors publish their books in multiple formats. It can be print books on Amazon, IngramSpark, Kindle books, e-books, or flipbooks.
And I also will take that content, especially if you're a coach or have some special insight. Maybe that your book could be the basis for a membership program or an online course, all sorts of things. If you're interested in having a career as a speaker, nothing opens doors like having a book. Y
ou have a book, and it's something you get invited onto a podcast, broadcast, get invited to speak about your book. And it can just open doors.
Sometimes, the book sales itself can be enough.
Other times, there are spin-off things. The books can lead to people signing up for your products, your coaching service, or your services, or your products, all that kind of thing.
A book can be a good calling card, good billboard for you, good advertising. And the other thing is you don't even have to have high goals for your book.
Sometimes, it's just an enjoyable thing to do to get your thoughts down, organize your thoughts, and write the thoughts. And it can be cathartic and informative just doing the process.
So I'm here. I'm your chief cheerleader and book whisperer. If you have any ideas about a book and want to pursue it, make it real. I've got a special retainer offer here.
If you go to sharedvisionspublishing.com, there's a discount coupon, which is holiday gift, and saves you money on the first month. And I'm looking forward to working with you.
We'll get your books out, get related products out, get into all the marketing, all that kind of thing that you need to do.
I'm not the only one. There are lots of really good people who can help you, people in the Grand Connection who are really good with books.
I can help you in all parts of your process, from encouraging you to get things organized, working with you during the writing, working with you to editing, formatting, and all that kind of thing.
And we can just have some fun with it.
